Naturally water-repellent and resistant to water and liquids in general, these fibres intrinsically possess properties that could make them suitable for outdoor use. Within the WASHABLE CLASSICS universe, however, they are crafted using constructions specifically intended for indoor applications only: hand-weaving with backing or hand-tufting, which do not allow the rugs to be used outdoors. This combination of highly resistant fibres and indoor manufacturing techniques makes it possible to prioritise comfort, rich textures and a sophisticated finish while providing remarkable ease of maintenance.
